Cool Sites!!

Disclaimer for my own sanity: The amount of things I have to say about any particular site doesn't determine how cool I think they are!! I struggle a lot with finding words and explaining stuff, and sometimes I just really like a thing and can't fully express why!! Of course I've tried my best with each entry here, but I could never do them justice so please do check out any sites that catch your eye!! Also it's worth noting that they're listed in order of discovery, same as the buttons on the homepage. Happy reading!!

Sugar For Brains
This site was the first one I remember visiting here, and it ultimately was a huge inspiration for me to start making a website of my own! A lot of my initial design ideas for the homepage were actually based on theirs lmao, but clearly I went with something more original(?). I absolutely adore the vibes, artstyle, and the fun little games they've made!!

Cinnimani
Unfortunately I haven't visited Cinnimani's site as much as some of the others I've linked here, but her tutorial on YouTube is the entire reason I finally started learning html, so really none of this stuff would be possible without her!! Her website is of course worth checking out too; it's very reminiscent of myspace and classic tumblr-era websites!
I'm not sure if it's because of my ADHD or what, but when it comes to teaching myself new things, it's hard for me to really get stuck into it if the tutorial isn't just right. I'm not sure what constitutes as right for me, but apparently Cinnimani's html tutorial fit the bill well enough for me to finally pursue making a website!

DokoDemo
Perhaps quite predictably, this site actually sparked an interest in the Doko Demo Issyo game series for me, but I'm super sad the PSP release of the first game hasn't been translated into English bc I really really wanna play it without google translate messing up on me ; ^ ;
This site itself though is incredibly well made, and it reminds me a lot of DS-era sites, especially with the graphics on the homepage and the quizzes made by the webmaster!!

A cute little personal site by a fellow frog enjoyer!! Unfortunately it's still very much under construction and hasn't been updated for around 8 months as of writing, but I really hope the webmaster comes back to it someday! I look forward to seeing what they'll do with it :]

My first hyperfixation that I ever recognized as a hyperfixation was Half-Life, so of course it'll always hold a special place in my heart. Lamorte is the creator of the Lambda Webring, and had a really cool Benrey themed site until recently. I do miss the old layout, but it's totally understandable!!
